First Sunday in Lent.  Lenten Worship Series is "Work of the Imagination" .  Scripture lessons for today are Jeremiah 29:1-9 and Matthew 4:1-11.  Message is "Rooted Resistance"

Today is Ash Wednesday, the beginning of Lent.  Scripture lessons for this evening are Joel 2:12-14 and Matthew 6:1-6, 16-21.  Message is "Sacred Turning".  There will be imposition of ashes during the worship service.

Today is Transfiguration Sunday.  Scriptures for today are Matthew 17:1-9 and 2 Peter 1:16-21.  Message is "A Light Shining in a Dark Place"

The evening begins with a light meal at 5:30 p.m. and study beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Tonight's session is "Remembering God's Faithfulness"

Administrative board meets to review finances and upcoming church calendar.

A soup and sandwich fellowship lunch follows worship today.  At the conclusion of lunch, the annual Football Toss Competition will be held; all entry donations will go to the Agape Food Pantry.

Scriptures for this morning are 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 and Esther 4:1-2, 9-16, and 9:20-22.  Message to conclude the series is "Remembering God's Faithfulness."   Today is also the Souper Bowl of Caring.
